Julie's play Polygamy For Girls formed part of the 2018 Radio 4 Riot Girls season, alongside adaptations of work by Margaret Atwood and Doris Lessing. She has been commissioned to write short stories for Radio 4, including a trilogy of stories based on the fairytale Rapunzel and stand-alone story The Last Place. Julie has twice been nominated for Best Drama at the BBC Audio Drama Awards for The Electrical Venus and A Shoebox Of Snow. The critically-acclaimed Stopgap was her radio writing debut.
