Going Headlong

Roll on Autumn when I’ll be joining Headlong theatre company as part of their very first invitational Writers’ Group.

I’m so looking forward to throwing myself back into stage writing after a year spent working on a new Adult/YA Crossover novel and writing and recording a new Afternoon Drama for BBC Radio 4.

And it’s extremely gratifying to be working with a theatre company that realises new writers aren’t all aged 18-24, and that there needs to be a concerted push to place more female voices in British theatre.

Who knows what will come of the months in their company, but it’s going to be really exciting finding out…
