For BBC Radio 4, Julie wrote THE LAST PLACE and a trilogy of stories inspired by the fairytale RAPUNZEL. Her stories have also been performed live at Liars' League and Short Stories Aloud.

She has had short stories published in Stand Magazine, Nerve, Monday Night, The First Line, and in collections by Leaf Books and Cinnamon Press, and she wrote a story for the Stripes anthology I'LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS in aid of Crisis.
