A Big Newsnight

BBC Newsnight featured The Big Lie on their July 29th show exploring the rise of LGBT characters in YA fiction.

I was interviewed by Katie Razzall about my writing process and read from the book for the segment which asked if there is a quiet revolution going on in books for teens.

James Dawson, my Hot Key Books stablemate, was also interviewed talking about his most recent novel All Of the Above, and a young readers group discussed how they feel about the portrayal of sexuality in the books they choose.
