Kwaksalver at the HighTide Showcase

The yearlong HighTide/Jerwood Writers Group came to a close this month, culminating in a showcase of excerpts from the plays written by the seven particpating writers.
Julie’s play KWAKSALVER, an 18th century black comedy about what we put our faith in now truth no longer exists, was performed by Nadi Kemp-Sayfi and Denzel Baidoo, directed by Beth Kapila.
An industry showcase at the Soho Theatre was followed by performances and a Q&A for local creatives at the New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich.
