Julie has teamed up with illustrator Spencer Wilson to collaborate on a series of children’s books.

Meet Shrimper - a seagull who has big plans to become an eagle. But is being an eagle all it’s cracked up to be?

So, no more captaining boats, Shrimper,
When you move to this land high and dry.
No more fishing for lobster and white bait,
And drifting home under a mackerel sky.

Inspired by Sir Ken Robinson’s call for schools to encourage diversity of talents, and prompted by a culture where children are encouraged to see fame as the only route to happiness, this mischievous, rhyming tale for pre-schoolers encourages its audience to ask – what am I really good at?

Spike the hedgehog knows exactly what he likes - and so does Martha mouse. Unfortunately, they like completely different things. Can the pair still be friends?

This picture book about opposites, explores the idea of collaboration and teamwork. The characters, and the dynamic of their friendship, offer some exciting opportunities for animation and cross-platform development.
